ORF 1 is Austria’s leading TV station, and the aim of its rebranding was to give viewers clear guidance in a media landscape, which is becoming more and more diverse. At the heart of the new brand design is the striking logo in the form of the number “1”, which conveys the station’s aspirations. The identity can continuously adapt to the new colour system which was customised for the newly developed programme scheme. Each colour represents one thematic focus and will be used throughout the whole identity as a subtle orientation system. The bespoke typeface completes the clear approach to the channel identity.
