Since the building of the District of Ostallgäu, Germany, features very long, narrow corridors, the elements designed for this signage system can accommodate all necessary information. The system comprises tactile floor indicators as well as a tactile model of the building in front of the entrance. Based on a two-senses principle (i.e. see and feel) to ensure barrier-free accessibility, all information is provided in Braille and a pyramid font. In addition, there are tactile floor-plan layouts, each mounted in the viewing direction. A button allows all content to be read out loud to visitors.
