New Interconnected Map Service (NIMS)
PenguBuddy
Inspired by penguins' natural play behaviours, PenguBuddy uses interactive robotics to monitor activity and foster human-penguin engagement. An underwater robot encourages the penguins to swim while capturing acoustic and video monitoring data. Visitors can control the robot via an app for an immersive and educational experience. A web platform also provides zookeepers with AI-driven insights for improved care and conservation.
