Poing is a technology start-up in South Korea. Its key business consists of a restaurant reservation platform and a restaurant management solution. A new visual identity was introduced to establish a long-lasting brand which appeals to both restaurant owners and guests. The new logotype is inspired by tableware: the letters O and I stand for plates and cutlery. The key graphic motif is a red bar, resembling the side view of a table as a symbol of the gourmet lifestyle. The result is a coherent design language combined with a clear colour code which together serve as the base of the brand design from the stationery to the app.
