The design of this poster visualises the 100th anniversary of Poland’s independence through expressive symbolism. The emblem of the eagle in the silhouette of a dove points to the Polish people’s desire for peace. Other symbols, such as Chopin’s piano hand, reflect the notions of peace and love. Meanwhile, stylised male and female figures moving forward represent the story of a never-ending process; and the Wi-Fi symbol communicates the idea of past and modern union and integration. Last but not least, the red- and white-coloured elements of the Polish flag stand for the enduring pursuit of peace.
