Sustainable Packaging

Ramos Pinto 10YO

Back

For their iconic ten years old Tawny port, Ramos Pinto wanted to offer a packaging that combines environmental sustainability with creative reuse options. The container consists of two cork blocks encased in an outer sleeve made of pressed cardboard. Cork, which is a 100 per cent natural and sustainable material, also has the characteristics of being light, impermeable and thermally insulating. The packaging therefore lends itself to be reused afterwards for multiple purposes, for example as a cooler, box, pen holder, jar or even as flower vase.
