Rebuild Taiwan’s traditional culture

Based on the observation that many Taiwanese consider their own culture old-fashioned or boring, these posters aim to celebrate the tradition of Taiwan. The cultural theme is conveyed by picturing a dragon pillar from a temple and door rings from a traditional palace. The poster motifs are completed by hands grasping the ancient objects, making them look like a dumbbell or gymnastics rings. Dynamic lettering and vibrant national colours contribute to an energetic overall appearance. Through its wide-ranging approach that touches on the fields of fine art, religion and sports, the poster project has the potential to appeal to a broad target group.
