Retastes is a premium ice cream brand with a packaging design that focuses on the pleasurable consumption of ice cream. The abstract key visual shows a golden spoon, which is being licked by a red tongue. The high-contrast colours of red and gold against a black background render a distinctive overall image, which has an eye-catching ef- fect at the point of sale. An elaborate flower tendril on the spoon handle, which is also embossed in the matt carton around the logo, fosters a premium impression that is haptically appealing at the same time.
