The impressive visual imagery of this seasonal advertising campaign conveys the message that Saturn retail shops offer their customers the latest technology at reasonable prices. In order to illustrate what can happen when technology becomes outdated, a dramatic chain reaction is staged. When an old TV fails during a live soccer broadcast in a pub, the situation gets out of hand. The final tagline “The world needs better technology” in the film advert drives home the message that this would not have happened with a product from Saturn.
