The motto of this design concept for beverage packaging reads: “Environmental reduction of plastic waste, let the earth become a better place”. It raises attention to the issue of plastic waste ending up in the oceans where it poses a threat to marine life. The beverage bags, which open easily on the side, feature black-and-white illustrations of a fish, a turtle and a bird, all of which have become victims of plastic straws, plastic ribbons and hooks camouflaged as a shrimp. The packaging thus aims to emphatically appeal to consumers, calling upon them to refrain from using harmful plastic products.
