SCAD FASH – Pierre Cardin

This elaborate invitation card has been designed for a Pierre Cardin show at the SCAD FASH Museum of Fashion and Film in Atlanta, Georgia. Inspired by a golden flowery dress, the design focuses on the pattern and features a conspicuous pop-up flower. The letters stand out due to foiling with gold colour on black paper. A matching gold-coloured sleeve lets the black insert shine through, displaying complex die-cut forms. All in all, the attention to detail in the card’s finish effectively conveys the fashion designer’s superior quality standards.
