Shoemate is a smart shoe-cleaning device that uses advanced odour sensors to detect VOCs, bacterial content, and shoe material to make tailored cleaning recommendations. Users activate the service via a mini-programme, insert their shoes, and receive suggestions for effective cleaning, drying, and disinfection methods in just 1-2 minutes. Once the cleaning is completed, users are notified to retrieve their shoes.
