Sliding Plug, Switch, and Socket

Typically, wall switches and power outlets are independent components. In this wiring concept, they are merged into a single, minimalist product. The front-facing switch is a ‘SMD Tactical Push Button’ and the power socket outlet is linked from the bottom.The technical design of the switch is based on an electrical circuit board that contains a solid- state-relay (SSR) to control alternating current power on/off and a tactile switch to govern the SSR open/close circuit. The socket can house either a USB or an Ethernet connector. The USB outlet uses a standard main switch PCB with an additional mobile charger board, but it also accepts regular female USB connectors. The Ethernet outlet uses a simple network circuit that accommodates more than one RJ connector, and LED light indicators confirm data transfer.
