tapio – digital.wood.works.

The ecosystem for the wood industry is called “tapio”, which not only refers to the “god of the woods” in Finnish mythology but also stands for “tap – input – output” suggesting that the right solution is never more than a few clicks away. The design plays with the contrast between wood as a natural resource and data as a digital resource. This idea is reflected in the programmed key visual with its growth rings that constantly change in form and colour. And it also shows in the comprehensive style library for all applications – from interaction models to icon fonts and CSS colours.
