TE Connectivity: Virtual Connected Car 3D Product Explorer

The 3D product explorer developed with TE Connectivity, a leader in connectivity and sensors, showcases 120 automotive products in a freely movable transparent model of a transparent car. Presented on a 98” 4K screen and two smaller flanking screens, this model was transferred into a real-time game engine. In a multistage conversion of industry data, a real-time renderable number of polygons was obtained and then, in combination with lighting and textures, successively increased. The intuitive interface invites viewers to navigate freely through the high-resolution transparent car, to view it from any perspective and to explore the complex products, resulting in a fascinating experience.
