Telekom – New Sound Identity
Deutsche Telekom introduced its sound logo in 1999. Today, the sound sequence of five tones is well-known across Europe and associated with the brand and its products. For its 20th anniversary, the sound logo has now been modernised. The tone sequence remains unchanged, yet the new logo has more nuances and a wider audible frequency range. It creates the basis for a growing number of functional sounds that can be developed to expand the acoustic brand. Use is allowed in 12 different keys (from C major to B). The result is a new and expanded sound identity, yet one based on the familiar.
