The main message of these posters is that “Design is an amusing play”. The letters of the word “design”, in English and Korean alike, are depicted as dynamic roller-coaster rails that are intertwined together, both to highlight the harmony and shared values of Eastern and Western design and to solidify our sense of identity. The Korean character “元” in the word “design” has been given the shape of a person in order to symbolically communicate that the core value of design equates to the well-being of people.
