The Curious Horns

Back Download

The Curious Horns is a public installation celebrating the Hong Kong shopping culture. These ancient hunting instruments symbolise shopping as a modern form of hunting and a call to shop. It reinterprets traditional weaving craftsmanship with modern construction techniques in a contemporary style. 360-degree-videos are projected onto the internal walls of the big horns, while the small horns are equipped with motion sensors, lighting and mirage mirrors to create an interactive experience, piquing the curiosity of the shopping mall visitors.
