The Fractal Chair
The Fractal Chair is a study of translating spatial curves from the human body into functional elements that propose alternate sitting positions. The ergonomic form is complemented with armrests, generous seating and a gently curved back. The high-low armrests are born as a natural result of the human body’s recurring fractal curves.
The design of The Fractal Chair highlights the possibility of developing a conceptual idea into a functional object, resulting in a piece of furniture that is unconventionally and aesthetically structured, yet ergonomic and functional.
