This brand design was created for a project called “The Imprint of 5000 Years”, which interprets the origins of Chinese civilisation. The visual representation of the cultural heritage is like a history documentary, representing the whole set of ritual instruments of nobility and honour. In order to use the culture of rituals and music as the starting point, the imagery traces the ancient legends and myths through making ritual music. The logo as well as various motifs, made to look like historical drawings, were used on various office supplies, thus transporting an abstract cultural context into everyday life in an artful way.
