The Virtuous Book

The design of “The Virtuous Book” is based on essays by Gui Bonsiepe and Clive Dilnot, who discuss the questions of value and the idea of design. Their ideas are represented in the publication by visual features, e.g. the use of colours. In order to convey the informative impression of the essays, a bright yellow serves as the main colour, in addition to white and black. According to the theory of colours, this tone has a positive connotation and is associated with enlightenment and attention, while black and white create a reliable and informative impression.
