The “Trenntstadt Berlin” initiative, launched by Berliner Stadtreinigung (BSR) in cooperation with its partners, organises regular public activities to raise public awareness in issues related to the environment. Waste separation plays a very important role since it provides the basis of recycling. This cinema ad uses the popularity of the handball champions of Füchse Berlin to promote the importance of accurate waste separation. The players demonstrate in several videos which type of waste has to go in which bin by means of special throwing techniques like the “pizza carton screw” or “banana peel screw”.
