The Unbowed Design Exhibition is the annual review of a Chinese design firm. The fact that the design works are hanging from the ceiling gives the word “unbowed” a special significance and also conveys the designers’ attitude to their designs. The brand promotion for the exhibition is characterised by brightly coloured, geometrical shapes with the aim of giving the beholder a pleasant visual experience. Among other things, a mascot was designed which combines the two animal signs of the Chinese zodiac from 2017 and 2018. The mascot has a dog’s head and a rooster’s body. Additionally, an exclusive exhibition bank note was designed which serves as an entrance ticket.
