Urban Air Mobility (UAM), being an EV-based aircraft, requires a very lightweight vehicle for vertical takeoff and landing. This UAM project proposes a sustainable and lightweight interior solution for a better passenger experience. It uses slim seats structurally integrated into the exterior, elastic mesh instead of foam, and a 3D-printed armrest made of recycled aluminium and a weight-optimised lattice structure.
