The University of Basel is a regionally rooted and internationally respected research university. Constantly high rankings underline the credentials of Switzerland’s oldest university with its history that goes back 555 years. The new corporate design comprises, among other things, publications, e-communication, social media and events. In particular, the distinctive colour branding in a shade of mint lends the University of Basel, as umbrella brand, a contemporary look. The modernisation of the logo, designed by Karl Gerstner, the combination of fonts and a clearly articulated design system transform routine university life into a daily brand experience.
