Vision 2020

The automobile manufacturer Volvo presented its Vision 2020 at this year’s Geneva Motor Show. The vision states that “By 2020, nobody shall be seriously injured or killed in a new Volvo”. It was communicated by means of iPads and headsets – the whole arranged on a round table showing the image of the earth. When picking up an iPad on the table, users were invited to see and hear stories, supported by augmented reality technology, about how a dangerous situation is prevented thanks to a state-of-the-art Volvo.
