With this new design concept for the drink called Bierlikör (beer liqueur), the Warsteiner brand immerses consumers in a fantasy world surrounding the essential ingredient of hops. It tells a story between “Alice in Wonderland” and the character from “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”, combining a love for hops with a desire to travel and dream, a yearning that has been growing due to the pandemic. Hops are at the centre of the story as a kind of “Holy Grail”, shining in all directions. The processing is visualised by a machine that extracts the essence from the hops. The drinking tradition is reflected in the typical glass shape and the cream-topping.
