The annual report “was Designer alles machen” (what Designers can do) presents bachelor’s and master’s theses published at the Institute of Design and Communication at FH JOANNEUM University of Applied Sciences in Graz, Austria. 86 papers from the academic year 2016/2017 present a wide variety of interdisciplinary contents. They are complemented by interviews and information about the study programme. This yearbook is the eighth to date and was published with a completely new design. The challenge was to create an information platform where each field of study could be presented and understood easily and where the passion for creativity and innovation could be conveyed.
