The corporate design of the Shipwreck & Fishing Museum in Cuxhaven is marked by maritime colours. The city of Cuxhaven, located on Germany’s North Sea coast, aimed to develop a distinctive appearance for its new museum opening in the landmarked fish market halls in 2013. The result is a flexible corporate identity, inspired by the museum’s location and name, Windstärke 10 (wind force 10), which visually reflects the changing wind forces from calm to hurricane. Even the appearance of the museum’s website changes according to both, weather and wind force.
