Xiang Duo Duo

The packaging for Xiang Duo Duo jasmine tea features illustrations and drawings of nostalgic appearance that captivate when being opened. Several layers of paper inside are “telling” a vivid romance story. The story is set in the early 1920s in Shanghai, also known back then as the “Paris of the Orient”, and is depicted in the art and style of a paper theatre. Using details such as a window frame, colourful glass and a jasmine flower, the design abstracts these elements into a round-cornered rhombus to form the logo.
