The campaign Zeit statt Zeug (Time rather than stuff) aims to show alternatives to the familiar ways of presenting gifts and thus contributes to transforming the trend towards growing consumption into a new contemporary way of gift-giving. Real-life examples demonstrate that, instead of the “fourth mobile phone” or “seventh perfume”, it makes more sense to give a more valuable present: time spent together. Showing such possibilities, the shop was launched four weeks before Christmas as a product of Scholz & Volkmer.
