Red Dot Design Ranking for Design Concept’s top ranked design institutions and enterprise
Red Dot Design Ranking for Design Concept reflects an organisation’s commitment to design excellence, demonstrating its achievements through consistent and sustained investment in design concepts and product development. The ranking is categorised into six distinct honorary lists for Companies, Design Studios and Universities, in the Americas & Europe and Asia Pacific regions.
Savannah College of Art and Design has moved up and is now ranked at the top position in the list for Universities in Americas & Europe while Umeå Institute of Design and Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design ranked at the second and third position. Maintaining at the top three in the list for Universities in Asia Pacific are National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, Massey University and Zhejiang University of Technology.
In the list for Design studios in Asia Pacific, maintaining at #1 in the list for six consecutive years is ZCO Design / ZCO Future Design, while SAMOO Architects & Engineers and Califor Design is now ranked second and third. Blond, Crux Product Design and Accenture Song had maintained at the top three in the list for Design studios in Americas & Europe.
Maytoni GmbH has moved up and is now ranked at the top position in the list for Companies in Americas & Europe while LIXIL Global Design and Lufthansa Technik AG is now second and third position. Maintaining at the top three in the list for Companies in Asia Pacific are Midea Group, Hyundai Motor Group and Gree Electric Appliances of Zhuhai.
The ranking is based on the results of the Red Dot Award: Design Concept published in the yearbooks. It takes into account all levels of awards at the Red Dot Award for Design Concept over the past five years.
The achievements of this year’s Red Dot Design Ranking for Design Concept were released in tandem with Red Dot Award: Design Concept 2025 results.
