Tomorrow’s Best Professional Concepts Begin Today
Companies, design studios, inventors, and professionals in manufacturing and service industries are invited to submit inventions, novel ideas, aesthetic designs, and communication concepts that are not yet in mass production for sale before July 2, 2026. These are the precursors to future breakthrough products. Near-complete or fully developed products and services can also be entered under the 'Ready for Market' category. The competition’s highest honour, the Red Dot: Luminary, is awarded to the most groundbreaking projects among the top entries.
Two Decades of Groundbreaking Design Concepts
Red Dot Design Award has recognised the importance of emerging design concepts and innovations since 2005, the precursors of tomorrow’s leading products. With a commitment to unbiased evaluation based solely on design quality, the award welcomes 'Ready for Market' submissions from companies as well as research and academic projects from universities.
