On 8 July 2025, outstanding product design was celebrated at the Aalto Theatre in Essen. As part of the Red Dot Gala, this year’s Red Dot: Best of the Best laureates of the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2025 received their trophies on stage in a festive setting.

The event was hosted by Professor Dr Peter Zec, Founder and CEO of Red Dot. Guiding viewers through the livestream were Jova Zec, Vice President of Red Dot, and Freddie Schürheck, journalist and presenter. They accompanied the evening with live commentary and fascinating background insights.
At the heart of the event were the ceremonial presentations on stage – featuring guests whose designs set new standards across a wide range of product categories. Beyond that, the livestream offered exclusive glimpses into the Red Dot Design Museum Essen, showcased the current exhibitions, reflected on former Red Dot: Design Teams of the Year and presented impressions from Red Dot’s international locations.
