Benjamin Koch

Benjamin Koch, born in 1986, studied information technology and design at Lübeck University of Applied Sciences, where he graduated with a degree in engineering in 2012. He expanded his focus on data visualisation to include 3D animation in 2009 at RMT Melbourne (Study Abroad). In 2012, he began working at Rocket Beans Entertainment GmbH as a VFX/3D artist for the video game show MTV Game One. When the show ended, he worked intensively on setting up the internet channel Rocket Beans TV. His focus here was on brand direction and art direction for the channel and its content.

Rocket Beans Entertainment has received a number of awards. These included the German Television Award, the Grimme Online Award and the German Web Video Award. Rocket Beans TV won the German Content Marketing Award in 2015 for its format “Gadget Inspectors”, which it produced for Vodafone. The Rocket Beans TV live event Fahr Away, developed for GTÜ, won the BrandEx Award Gold for “Excellence in Brand Strategy and Creation” in 2021. Benjamin was responsible for this as art director and motion graphics artist. Today, Benjamin continues to work at BEANS Entertainment GmbH, as it is now called, as brand director and, in addition to the brand image of BEANS Entertainment and Rocket Beans TV, he also looks after the influencer agency Astronauts Artist Management and the production company Midflight.
