With travel restrictions in place due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this campaign by a small-town library promoted reading as “travelling in the head” – just as exciting as the actual experience, but without the risks. The library was transformed into a “travel agency” and equipped with donated travel agency posters that were also distributed all over the city, with the destinations linked to well-known book titles. Accordingly, a “travel booking system” was installed on the library’s website where readers could even send e-postcards from their journey.
