This rural residence in Bangladesh, designed for a multi-generational family, integrates climate-responsive strategies while supporting livelihood needs through a dedicated weaving area and a roadside teahouse. Built with locally sourced and minimally processed materials, such as mud, bamboo, and bricks, the house features elevated plinths and sloped roofs for resilience and adaptability. The spatial layout, carefully designed brick openings, and embedded clay pots enhance natural ventilation, while roof-integrated 'litre bottles of light' introduce daylight into the interior spaces. Rooted in its nature and cultural context, the project embodies an approach to sustainable and contextual architecture. Red Dot Award: Design Concept | Concept | Architecture
