The most complicated sections called for the high-precision craftsmanship of TIG welding, which was carried out with surgical care by human eyes, hands and skill. As high-performance motorbikes generate a lot of heat, the end caps have been made highly heat-resistant. For the same reason, the protection shields are also made from carbon, so they are light and durable. The design and materials of the Akrapovič Evolution Line offer various advantages: with 9.4 kW at 5,150 rpm it boasts substantial power and with 17.9 Nm at 5,300 rpm it delivers considerable torque gains as compared to standard exhausts. This exhaust system facilitates a reduction in weight of 4.8 kg and thus improves on the overall weight balance of motorbikes.
