Traditional wearable robots often require assistance to put on, limiting user independence. The WSF1 Vision Concept solves this with an autonomous approach function and a front-loading system, enabling users to don the suit independently. Twelve powerful actuators provide unparalleled multi-directional motion, while exceptional self-balancing technology allows crutch-free walking, freeing the hands entirely. Despite its advanced technology, the design features flowing silhouettes and muscular volumes that convey power and dynamism. Inspired by both fashion and automotive design, its athletic proportions, sculpted surfaces, and technical detailing position it as a true hybrid between a mobility device and a wearable robot. Its sports-gear-like appearance and friendly expression support a more inclusive social experience. A centre-mounted screen enables interaction with pedestrians, helping the robot-suit-donning user blend naturally into everyday environments. In motion, the screen folds toward the user, displaying SatNav, downward and rear vision, with autonomous walking supported by a rear-view camera mounted on the helmet for added safety. Stretchy neoprene fabric between the upper and lower body allows flexible and seamless movements that soften the mechanical feel and evoke human friendliness.
