Exhibition Communication
Arche. The Collection Returns.
The concept for promoting the “Arche” exhibition at the Kunsthalle Mannheim was created against the backdrop of a remodelling of the museum, which meant that the famous art collection had to be relocated for a three-year period. The typographical nature of the visual appearance alludes both to the classical display and to elements corresponding to the framed letters of a periodic system. At the same time, the positioning of the exhibition title creates a focus and guides the view of the observer to discover new details in well-known masterpieces. The distinctive typography of the title can be used on varying motifs, without losing significance and recognition.
