ASC: Sensitive Handling System

ASC: Sensitive Handling System lifting system is a concept for vertically moving sensitive equipment on telecom and construction sites such as 5G antennas, RRUs and special equipment safely and quickly while also protecting the components and preventing technician injuries during those stages. The ecosystem is made up of a motorised ascender with a vacuuming device, protective cases, and a remote control for the system. While the navigation buttons aid in lifting, the VAC button allows the user to apply and release vacuum pressure. The protective vacuum case connects to the vacuum attachment via a built- in hose. By sucking air through this hose, it shrinks to the desired shape and provides a strong grip on a variety of antenna sizes or other products. Inside the vacuum case, accordion-like structures help the case shrink and form the antenna shape by controlling the air between their gaps. The bottom structure is inspired by vacuum mattresses and made of PU sponge. All in all, the system aims to safeguard valuable components, allow technicians to move freely during installation and disassembly, reduce physical workload, and improve overall safety and efficiency.
