Bean Guardian

뒤로 다운로드

A recycled planting equipment that captures dew from the air for bean cultivation, with the goal of improving food scarcity, water availability and farming in West Africa. A mesh structure is woven with bamboo flakes to intercept moisture in the air, condensing dew that is then directed into an elephant grass shelf. The skeleton and foundation of the equipment are made of bamboo, and the cover is made of sisal, a traditional fabric that reduces moisture loss in space. After four days on the shelf, the beans will sprout and can be consumed or sold. Some bean sprouts can be planted in the open area at the bottom. After about 60 days, the seedlings will have grown into new beans and can be harvested, thereby achieving circular agriculture.
