The new technologies of the 21st century are also revolutionising filmmaking. The design of this cinema therefore refers back to an item from the early days of filmmaking and uses it as its focal design element – the roll film. White walls, intersected by narrow black stripes, envelop the entire space and create right angles of different dimensions. They are intended to symbolise the flexible shape and nature of the film material. The gently curved ticket points fit seamlessly into the layout.
