It has impact shield developed to distribute the forces of a frontal impact over a larger area, which acts like an airbag by cushioning the child in place and significantly reducing the risk of neck injuries. In the event of a side impact, the headrest keeps the child’s head inside the seat’s safety zone. As the child grows, the impact shield can be removed to extend the seat’s service life.
