Two flexible straps connected to each other by means of crosspieces form the basic structure of the DHAS. This sturdy, yet flexible gripper made of polyurethane readily adapts to the contours of a workpiece without damaging it. It is thus especially well-suited for gripping sensitive objects with irregular shapes such as fruit or vegetables. The basic functional principle is additionally emphasised by the simple design.
