Dragon Boat

Dragon boat racing, which, today, is popular throughout the world, was initially intended to commemorate the patriotic Chinese poet Qu Yuan. This book is intended to keep his memory awake and highlight the art of building traditional dragon boats. The book is housed in an elaborately designed wooden case, on which the traditional water craft is depicted. The case has two hinged flaps which can be opened and closed with a bar, whereby the bar is paddle-shaped.
