The filter is responsible for purifying any toxic fumes that are released during the soldering process that would harm the user’s health. Additionally, an air inlet glass tube is positioned at the head of the iron to prevent the user from being scalded by the hot iron. On one side of the tube, a convex lens is introduced so that users have a clear view of the components and the soldering area.
