The book “Ephemera” is divided into eight chapters and shows examples of the graphic design of the library of the Austrian Museum of Applied Arts and a collection of works on paper from the 18th century to the present day. Every chapter begins with a photograph of the area of the museum which is not open to the public, rooms where exhibits are stored and researched, arranged in various forms, from collection files and boxes to individual sheets. Even the cover design, with its wooden structure and archive label, resembles an archive box. The design initially seems very reserved, but with the red edge colouring on three sides, it alludes to the rare works within.
