The Eurovision Song Contest is a world-famous TV music show. The 2020 edition was supposed to take place in the Netherlands but had to be cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The task was to create a range of key visuals that complement the generic Eurovision brand logo. An iconic data-driven identity was developed using special software to honour the long history of the contest in a contemporary manner. The visual identity conveys international openness by connecting the flag colours of the participating countries and creating a unified, yet diverse feel.
