Excuse me

By presenting the encounter between a boy and a girl, the 3D-animated short film “Excuse me” addresses the idea of looking out for one another in society. A friendly gesture between two young people during a train journey leads to a misunderstanding which is then resolved at the railway station. In terms of the visual design, great care has been taken in the selection of textures, colour schemes and lighting. The train’s interior has been modelled on the shuttle buses typical in Taiwan in order to create a setting which feels familiar to a Taiwanese audience. The look of the station is based on a combination of two old railway stations, Checheng and Jiji.
